Salty x Miller 701

Introducing... "Shuffle"
In no way were we in the hunt for a ram, but when the opportunity door knocked, we hurried and answered it.

We don't believe in glaring at the pendulum of trends, but when we talk about trends this guy doesn't need a tutor to pass the test of being trendy.. He IS the test. This creature has more hair than the first three rows of a 1989 Bon Jovi concert and does it with class.

Outside all the bells and whistles he possesses, this ram is a good piece of livestock. He's got the bottom part of a skeleton like a show steer, but different than the kind that people are seeing in today's fashion. His body shape is right, he runs in the right direction, but most importantly -  he doesn't sacrifice structural quality when combining these assets.

We aren't saying he's perfect, nor are we saying he is the right type for everyone. This guy is unique and we invite you to form your own opinion of him. Whatever kind of style   you're trying to raise, or trend you're trying to chase... he fits the mold of what a "good one" is.  He certainly can dance to any tune on the radio. Turn up the volume, clear the dance floor, and watch him "shuffle"!

Thanks for all the positive feedback we've already received on this guy.
Most importantly, we'd like to thank McIlrath Club Lambs for letting this guy go.

Diamond Eyes x Miss Dee

Back 2 Back comes from our lead donor "Miss Dee" and this ones sire, Diamond Eyes, certainly needs no introduction to club lamb enthusiasts. Back 2 Back is flawless from his last rib forward. His flank is placed where it needs to be, his chest is high, and has the muscle flare from behind that's needed to win the big ones.
He has a flush sister that has had a lot of friends throughout the summer and we are very exciting retaining her to see what she can generate. Adding to this his flush brother was one we planned on keeping for ourselves, however we got offered a monetary number we couldn't turn down.

Geneotypically this guy is as good as it gets.
Phenotypically, he's the kind we like to look at everyday.
We invite you to share our excitement.

Once again, thank you to the Dee Brothers for the opportunity on implementing their genetics!

Diamond Eye x Too Easy
QRNN
Raised by Perkins
Bred by Dee Brothers
Owned with Walker Club Lambs

Intervention is one that we are extremely high on. Sired by the famous “Diamond Eyes” buck from the Dee Brothers,
he combines some traits we are anxious to inject in our ewe flock to make that next generation better. Intervention is extremely good built from the profile as he ties in so neat and shallow in his chest floor. Yet, he expands out bold in his rib, while still organizing all those attributes in a functional package. Crossed back on the Ceaser daughters could defiantly change some things for us in a good way!

Thank you to David Garrett for selling us such a true stud buck.
As a mature buck he is perfect through his front one third, massive in his rack, super square in his loin
edge, freaky in his pin set, extremely deep in his stifle, great ribbed and wide based.
His babies are great patterned, big topped, massive hipped and very good ribbed.

Thanks To David Garrett for selling us a proven stud ram.
Try to find a better fronted, shallower ribbed, long spined buck with muscle.  His daughters are working
very well when bred to Vindicator.  He has been sold and is working on fine wool crosses in south Texas.

About Us

MP Club Lambs was started in 1990 with a few dorset and Suffolk ewes from Randy Denhart.  After college, we purchased a group of ewes from Brad Dale and Brad and Jeff Ellerbrock to give us our base flock. In 2006, we purchased a group of 45 ewes from David Garrett in Early, Texas as well as two Caesar sons.  In 2008, we relocated back to Indiana and my wife’s home town.  The spring of 2009 lambing was well on its way and we had sold several lambs to great homes when tragedy struck on Valentine’s day and we lost everything to a fire, with the exception of 12 ewe lambs that were not due to lamb until late March and April.

After some thought and studying what some of the most elite flocks were doing and where we felt the industry was going, our decision was quite easily made by staying with what we already knew.  We contacted David Garrett, and he allowed us to purchase 40 stud ewes in May of 2009.  These females are some of the most valuable genetics in the country. We also spoke with Brad Dale and he sold us the top six Power Dunk ewes left on the farm.

We feel these two sets of females are second to none.  These are powerful prolific females that flat out work. Combined these ewes have worked, whether as females for such flocks as Langmeiers, Hancocks and Wheatons - OR rams for Ellerbrocks, Achors, Glasscocks and Dales - To winners at every level for majors like Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Louisville and Denver to State fairs from New Mexico to Indiana and more jackpot and county fair winners than can be listed.

We would like to express our most sincere appreciation to
for selling use an awesome set of ewes and stud bucks, but also for being such great friends.

Also, to

for allowing us to purchase the best of the best of your ewe flock,
and for leasing Vindicator or he would have been lost in the fire too.

This is our first try at selling a bred and we had to offer our best to be recognized and allow ourselves to standout. Frankie quickly came to mind. Bottom line this one is good. She brings to the table a combination of traits any crowd can appreciate. Great looking, massive bodied, yet so genuine in terms of width and biuld right at the ground. This one represents longevity to a T. Frankie was a purchase from Dale and was always competive out for the Gentry Family and never misses when it comes lambing time. This year will be no different. That's what a goos ewe is supposed to do. Breed to Intervention this year will be exciting for whoever gets her. His lambs where easy to move last year and had their fair share of success.

DOB: 2/18/13
Bred to Back to Back (Diamond Eyes x Miss Dee)
Due: 2/18/15

Sire: Phineas (Wheaton's Perfection x Ceaser Bred by Brad Dale)
Dam: Little Julius

1339 is one I never ever considered selling until Dan allowed us to be in this sale and I knew I had to bring a good one. She is the best 13 model on the farm and was definitely on our radar as a strong possibility to go into the donor program next year after she lambed the first time. Here's one that is unique. Wide, Attractive and Sound. She is as shallow fronted, round ribbed, stout hipped and massive yet femine muscled as we have made to date. combine that with her mating to Back to Back and it could get scary good! The babies out of Back to Back where by far the coolest fronted, loosest flanked lambs in the barn this spring and they have feed as well as any we have sold in the last few years and hung their share of banners. Buy with confidience and we are sure you will be a happy customer!

Sire: Papa Smurf
Dam: Ignite (Dead Miller

This yearling is as broody as we have to offer. Her mother was a very successful show ewe for the Gentry family in Indiana and this is her first lamb. If you you want one that is big bodied, flat loined with the muscle quality that are sheep have been known for then don't miss out on this girl. She is breed to lamb early to Pealr Jam one of our Diamond eyes sons and is out of "Pearl" the ewe that Gentry's purchased from Brad Dale and now is standing in Shroyer's Donor pen and in my opinion is one of the very best mature females I have ever seen. That being said these babies have a chance to be very special. The Pearl Jam babies this year where big footed, shallow chested and loose flanked that balanced extremely well. Bid with confidence and let us know how they come out!

Sire: Guy
Dam: Mr. Big (Bolt x Slammer Shell)

This yearling ewe is destined to make a great brood ewe. She is extremely modern in her design being big footed, round bodied and packed full of muscle. Being breed to Phineas these babies should be very wooly, perfect ribbed with all the power that you could ask for.

This yearling ewe is did not photo the best but she is a truly quality female, She is tall fronted, long spined and dead level hipped. As well as being big footed, great bodied and when you get behind her she is really big hipped. Being breed to the Dale buck Phineas should make a great combination with tons of wool in a moderate powerful package.

Green 6
DOB: 2013
Bred to Pearl Jam (Diamond Eyes Son)
Due: 12/12/15 S

Sire: Deja Vu

This ewe was purchased from Randy Smith and has matured into a very nice yearling ewe. She is a really nicely balanced ewe that is shallow fronted and very deep flanked and is stout in her upper hip and as sound as you can make one. She is bred early to Pearl Jam our Diamond Eyes son.
